WHAT IS TAAF? TEXAS AMATEUR ATHLETIC FEDERATION EXPLAINED

The Texas Amateur Athletic Federation (TAAF) governs amateur athletics for many competitions across Texas — including some track and field meets at the state level.

Stride Nation Elite competes through AAU, so TAAF membership is not part of our standard registration. It only applies if your family independently enters TAAF-sanctioned Texas meets for additional in-state competition.

TAAF offers Texas-specific age divisions and state championship opportunities that some families pursue on their own, alongside our AAU season.

If you choose to enter a TAAF meet, membership is handled directly with TAAF at taaf.com, separate from your Stride Nation Elite registration. Follow each meet's specific entry instructions.
